Release Notes
Website Refresh
The website now uses NVR Vision by 曜境工作室, with the app's updated navy/teal visual direction and current widget previews. Its primary address is now nvrvision.findtw.com. Existing website and privacy links redirect to the matching new address; the support contact and privacy disclosures are unchanged.
This website update does not rename installed apps, replace launcher icons, change the package identity, or distribute a new APK/AAB. Existing test builds may still show Country Monitor (鄉下監控). Preview camera scenes are synthetic, not real footage or final store screenshots.
Current Build
App Experience
- Refreshed setup, saved-device home, light/dark themes, grouped settings, and monitor controls.
- Added camera paging beyond four channels, draft-safe connection edits, keyboard/large-text layout handling, and corrected TV single-view and return-home behavior.
- Added direct SDK-free ISAPI/RTSP live monitoring for Android phones, tablets, and Android TV.
- Added adaptive phone, tablet, and TV layouts with 1-grid and 4-grid monitoring.
- Added multilingual support for Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English.
- Added camera renaming, large connection status messages, and day / night mode.
- Added production-style About, support, privacy, and release-notes surfaces.
Security and Privacy
- Stores DVR passwords and remote log upload tokens in platform secure storage.
- Redacts password-like fields before writing diagnostics logs.
- Requires HTTPS for remote diagnostics log upload.
- Added local usage metrics toggles for future analytics wiring; cloud Google Analytics is not connected yet.
- Keeps support banners away from live camera surfaces.
Release Readiness
- The existing app-specific launcher icons and Play Store feature graphic draft still use the previous branding and need a separate release update.
- Added public privacy, support, and release-notes pages for Play Console review.
- Added a combined release gate for the public site, Play assets, and mobile APK / AAB artifacts.
- Release builds refuse hardcoded DVR defaults, debug signing, sample AdMob App IDs, and obvious committed secrets.
- The owner previously confirmed three live cameras on their NVR. The refreshed UI still needs real-device/live-video acceptance; widget and emulator checks are not a compatibility certification.
Before Public Release
- Complete real-device validation of the refreshed release, including longer live-monitor sessions.
- Align the app name, launcher assets, and final Play Console screenshots with the approved brand.
- Finish developer-account setup and the required Play Console testing, policy, and review steps.
- Verify production ad consent and banner behavior before an ad-enabled public release. Cloud analytics remains unconnected.
