Support
NVR Vision is the new website brand for Country Monitor (鄉下監控), an Android app for DVR/NVR systems you own or are authorized to use. Current test builds may still display the previous name.
Device Compatibility
The direct Hikvision path has been tested with the owner's PoE NVR. PoE describes power delivery, not app compatibility. Other models, firmware, brands, and codecs require device-specific testing; there is no universal NVR compatibility claim.
The separate RTSP/ONVIF workflow is limited: standard builds block credential-bearing native RTSP playback. An alternative path in controlled test builds has only been verified for selected H.264 / ONVIF Media1 scenarios. It is not a promise of H.265, audio, or full ONVIF feature support.
Connection Checklist
- Confirm the DVR host or domain, control port, RTSP port when using standard playback, username, and password.
- The control port may be HTTP/HTTPS or a supported private DVR port; RTSP is a separate service (often port 554). Do not substitute a private control port for RTSP.
- Use a trusted LAN or VPN for unencrypted DVR transports; a public hostname does not make legacy traffic secure.
- The supported direct path does not require an app cloud account or an externally hosted relay. It does not provide scan-to-connect cloud P2P service.
- Prefer Wi-Fi for the clearest live view. Mobile data uses the app's low-data behavior when enabled.
- If live view pauses, use reconnect from the monitor screen after checking the network.
Diagnostics
The app keeps a local diagnostics log on the device. You can clear it, export it, or upload it to an HTTPS support endpoint that you configure.
Analytics Status
Usage metrics are local-only in the current build. Cloud Google Analytics is not connected yet.
